About Eric Reading

Eric’s practice is principally focused in mergers and acquisitions, and other transactional and corporate matters. 

Eric has represented some of the world’s leading venture capital companies and private equity firms, and their portfolio companies, in acquisition and sale transactions and venture capital investments with enterprise values ranging from $10 million to $1.5 billion across a variety of industry sectors (software/technology, food and beverage, industrial and consumer goods, and recreation/entertainment).  Eric’s client representation has also included counsel in executive compensation, employment, governance and other general corporate matters.  

Before venturing into the practice of law, Eric gained years of experience in the corporate world, where he honed his business, operational and analytical skills.  Eric’s prior work experience includes stints in music publishing, real estate management and development, and a technology startup.  Eric is a seasoned professional, who brings all of his unique life experiences to the practice of law, allowing him to see and analyze a client’s needs from both a practical business, and a legal perspective, to provide efficient, optimized solutions. 

Prior to joining Anton Ammar, Eric was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Gunderson Dettmer LLP and Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.
